Walmart Beauty Box Revealed!

Last month, I posted about Walmart's new subscription beauty box. Good news! I received mine a couple weeks ago and I'm extremely impressed.  I'm still shocked at the value that I received!  Since a few readers had questions about what items were included in the box, I've decided to share with you what I got.  This box is sent out quarterly, so there's still time to sign up for the next box.  Look for the signup link at the bottom of this post.

The actual beauty box is free, and shipping is $5.  With this price tag, I assumed the box would contain mostly samples, maybe a deluxe sample product, and some coupons.  Yes, I was completely wrong!  Keep reading to see what 5 bucks bought!

ROCKSBOX: Designer Jewelry Subscription Box

Recently, I heard about a new jewelry subscription box called RocksBox.  I love the idea of swapping out jewelry every month for new pieces! Since I was getting the first month free, I decided to give it a try!

Each month Rocksbox sends three pieces of designer jewelry that is chosen specifically for you.  You will fill out a style profile when signing up, and the jewelry sent to you is handpicked from the answers provided in the style profile.

A few designers used by RocksBox include House of Harlow, CC Skye, Loren Hope and Urban Gem.

To see which pieces I was sent this month, and exactly how this monthly subscription box works, keep reading!

Wow, I can't believe May is almost over!  With June just around the corner, I realized I hadn't done a review on the May bag yet!   After seeing all the sneak peaks Ipsy shared the first and second week of May, I just knew I was going to like this bag!  And I was right... overall, I'm very happy with what I got.  Here are some of my opinions on each product.

Beauty Rocks! April Glam Bag

This is my third month being an Ipsy subscriber.  I have been extremely excited with all 3 bags.  The theme for this bag is "Beauty Rocks!" and is a nod to all the spring music festivals.  As always, the products came in a cute little makeup bag.  This bag is navy blue and has an image of a turn table.  Out of the 3 bags I have received, this one is my favorite.

Beauty boxes and freebies.

So, I am kinda excited about the whole beauty box subscription deal.  I have just signed up for the ipsy subscription and find myself really looking forward
to getting it in the mail.  It's a $10 per month cost, but the items you get each month are usually full size products.  I find it really neat and something to look forward to each month.  A great way to discover products you  normally wouldn't buy.

I also have joined www.influenster.com.  This is somewhat like the other
subscription boxes, only the items they send you are free!  The only thing they ask in return are reviews of products on their website.  It's set up so you receive badges for certain areas that you are active.  I've heard mixed
reviews. Some say they received a box in just a couple months. Others have been waiting for over half a year.

If anyone has any experience with Influenster, let me know. I would love to
hear tips and tricks on earning badges and points. I'm a sucker for anything that involves makeup and freebies. :)
