ROCKSBOX: Designer Jewelry Subscription Box

Recently, I heard about a new jewelry subscription box called RocksBox.  I love the idea of swapping out jewelry every month for new pieces! Since I was getting the first month free, I decided to give it a try!

Each month Rocksbox sends three pieces of designer jewelry that is chosen specifically for you.  You will fill out a style profile when signing up, and the jewelry sent to you is handpicked from the answers provided in the style profile. 

A few designers used by RocksBox include House of Harlow, CC Skye, Loren Hope and Urban Gem.

How it Works!

After receiving the jewelry, wear it as often as you like and keep it as long as you want.  If you decide you want three new pieces, just slip the jewelry back into the pre-paid envelope Rocksbox provides to you, mail it back in and within two days, they will mail out three new pieces of jewelry.  
You can send it back as many times as you want during the month.  If you find yourself in love with one of the necklaces, keep it and send back the other 2 pieces. Pay your $19 membership each month, and it's up to you on how you want to use the service.

What happens if you get a necklace or bracelet you can't live without?  RocksBox will actually sell it and give you 20% off retail price!  

The price for this service is $19 per month, or $17 if you pay for six months up front. It's not a bad deal considering the three pieces I received this month is worth $249!

I must admit, I was a little cautious about how this all worked. 
What if I break something, or it gets damaged in the mail? RocksBox says not to worry... send it back as is! They never charge customers for damaged items. 

I'm very picky about the style of jewelry I wear.  I don't like a lot of flashy and colorful pieces.  Usually, you will see me wearing a lot of silver and muted colors.  So I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box to find exactly the style of jewelry I would pick for myself.  The style profile I filled out when I signed up really does help Rocksbox pick out pieces that will work for each customer.    

I received a bracelet, earrings and a beautiful necklace. Here are some pictures and a description of the three pieces I was sent this month.

This beautiful bracelet is by Urban Gem.  Out of the three pieces, this one is probably my favorite. The picture doesn't do it justice.  It is absolutely beautiful!  

It retails for $74.  Rocksbox members can buy it at 20% off for $59.

The navy/silver button earrings are by House of Harlow and are a perfect fit to my style.  With my short hair, I never feel comfortable wearing dangle earrings, so I was happy to see my style profile helped the stylist choose just the right earring for me.

The earrings retail for $35, and Rocksbox members can buy them 20% off for only $28.

The third piece of jewelry is this gorgeous Charlene K Circle Chain Necklace in sterling silver.  It's going to be hard for me to let this one go.  It's the perfect length and I love the way it's designed.  So, so pretty in person. 

This piece is the most expensive with the retail price of $149. With the 20% member discount, I can buy this for my collection for $112.

I'm very impressed with this jewelry subscription box. All the pieces are very well made.  I don't get the "costume jewelry" vibe at all.  
When you receive the jewelry, they also send an invoice with info about each piece and also a survey to fill out and send back in with the jewelry so your stylist will know how to make the next selection a better fit if you are not completely satisfied.
