My latest obsession is the Konjac Sponge. If you haven't tried one yet, you are missing out! This particular sponge is by My Konjac Sponge. This little sponge offers many different benefits. I started using it on a daily basis over a month ago, and I'm already seeing results.
Are you asking yourself "What the heck is a Konjac Sponge?"
Keep reading to find out!
Currently, I'm using the charcoal bamboo sponge, and I've noticed a lot of positive changes from my skin. It is a great exfoliator by keeping my pores clear from makeup and dirt buildup.
Charcoal Bamboo is suitable for:
- Oily and AcneProne Skin
- Gently Exfoliates the Skin
- Cleanses Pores, Removes Excess Oil
- Prevents Acne
I really like the shape of the My Konjac Sponge. It has a nice tear-drop shape that helps clean around the nose and eye area.

Konjac sponges are all natural and come from the fiber of a Japanese plant that's potato-like. They come in many different varieties and are a great exfoliator.
When I first opened the package, I was surprised at how the sponge felt while dry. It's solid and very hard. However, after soaking it with water, it becomes very soft and spongy. It feels amazing on the face... very soothing.
I like to switch it up... you can use it with or without cleanser. However, if you decide to use it with a cleanser, be very careful to only add a tiny drop. It lathers up and by adding too much, it will build up in the sponge.
Once you are finished using it, rinse it out, squeeze all the excess water from it, and hang up to air-dry. Each sponge comes with a nifty little suction cup and string.
Browsing through my blog, you'll notice how much I love Acure Organics products. I use their body wash with the My Konjac body sponge. It's a perfect match.. both are cruelty free and 100% organic. The sponge helps give an amazingly silky lather and it leaves my skin feeling super soft.
